​ John “JSaxx” Watkins International Saxophonist and Recording Artist   John “JSaxx” Watkins, born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio developed his love for music at the early age of 8 listening to his father Rev. John C. Watkins, his uncle Lamar Gaines, and his grandfather Charles Pace.  Following in his family’s footsteps JSaxx picked up the saxophone and never put it down. Having the opportunity to enroll into the Cleveland School of Arts, allowed John to expand his knowledge of wind instruments as well as music theory and music production.  
Jazz musician John "JSaxx" Watkins plays the Alto, Tenor & Soprano saxophone. His style and music infuse blues, gospel and hip-hop elements into a refreshingly unique style creating the extraordinary style and experience of Mr. John "JSaxx" Watkins. He artistry exceeds category, as shown by his performances & recording sessions with an assortment of diverse performers. He composes the style of legendary greats such as John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Lester Young, Cannonball Adderley, and Miles Davis and continue to follow greats such as Gerald Albright, Kenny Garrett, Warren Hill, and Mike Phillips.   
JSaxx has recently recorded with Artist such as Young Thug , Gunna ( Ski on radio all over) , JKing (Rollin ,Northside Drive) released in October 2021, Chenitha Reddick (80’s Baby ) playing on WCLK Jazz Station in Atlanta, GA , Nyk Part (Smile) Kweki Graham (First Site ) and you can catch his music such as , , Airbourne To Cali , In My Soul am, and Solitude,also being played on Atlanta’s Jazz stations 101.9 by DJ Art Terrell , Smooth Jazz Weekend in Dallas Texas , with Tina Clark , just to name a few ,and a slew of more around the world and on all social media platforms .   JSaxx has shared the stage with numerous artist such as Switch, which founding member, vocalist ,and keyboard player ,Gregory Williams is manager of Switch and John JSaxx Watkins also , Joe Gable , as his Musical Director, the Whispers, GC Cameron, Johnathan Butler, Marion Meadows, Kenny G ,Gerald Albright  ,Eric Darrius,  Jeff Kashiwa, , Jeff Coffin, Eric Marienthal , Micheal Lington, Warren Hill, Mindy Abair ,Tony Terry, D’Wayne Wiggins , Rickey Smiley, Tony Tatum, Frank McCombs, Cruz (Rude Boys), Lil G (Silk) and has toured with the legendary Temptations. He has also performed at the Black Heritage Festival in Kentucky and a musical production play starring movie actor Leon. He has been featured several times on FOX8 Morning Show and WKYC Channel 3 (Cleveland, OH). In April 2017, McDonalds featured JSaxx on the Rock Box McDonalds Commercial. In 2017 he starred in the upcoming film with Matthew McConaughey “White Boy Rick”.  John “JSaxx” Watkins is being endorsed by Silverstein Ligatures, Theo Wanne mouthpieces ,Legere Reeds, Dante Neckstraps , and Key Leaves .
